For four generations, a single family in Greece has cultivated the rare Koutsourelia olive, still picking them by hand to ensure perfect ripeness and no bruising. The Spanish Gordal olives are jumbo sized with a delicate flavor and meaty texture that will make you see the beauty of tapas culture. Slow-cured the traditional way is a hallmark of the Arbequina olives. Great as an appetizer, a tapenade, on salads, tossed with pasta, and served on pizza.
Karl Burgart began organic farming 27 years ago (before it was mainstream) in St. Louis, Missouri on his farm named Healthy Harvest. He fed his whole family of five on food from his own land, grown with his own hands. Upon moving to Colorado, we wanted to continue to share the healthy traditions. At a market, he met the family who produces our Greek olive oil. Since then, Healthy Harvest has sold and searched for unique traditional foods straight from the source and educated people on their health benefits.
With much of the olive oil in the U.S. being adulterated, they wanted to provide an option people could trust. Since then, their mission has grown to offer organic, traditional foods and products and the captivating stories of where they came from.
With each and every product Healthy Harvest offers, they have a direct relationship with the producer and have witnessed their production methods ensuring transparency. These foods have been used for centuries for health and vitality. Their goal is to share them in their purest form. Healthy Harvest products contain no preservatives, additives, colors or anything else except what nature has provided.
